1. Catnip
Most cats love their nip. But if yours is one of the 30-50% percent of cats that aren’t genetically programmed to appreciate catnip try an alternative. Valerian, silvervine, or honeysuckle might like his fire. For some real excitement bring home a fresh catnip plant. Try a sampler pack to find an alternative if your cats’ are not genetically prone to appreciate catnip.

Just walk down the aisle in your favorite pet supply store and you’ll see toys galore! Amazon and Chewy offer cat toys of every variety. What kind of toys does your kitty prefer? Is he a ground hunter or a flier? Does he want to chase a ball or spring around your house or would she rather jump for the lure on a new wand toy? Maybe a kicker or a soft catnip toy.![]()

Chirping Cat Toys We love these. Pick them up before bed if your cats like to play in the middle night though.

3. Treats
Make your own or spoil your feline friends with something special like a freeze dried meat treat or a Churu. I’ve never met a cat that isn’t obsessed with the lickable goodness of Churu treats.
4. New harness or collar and leash
Is your cat an adventure cat? Treat her to a new harness and leash, or a new coat. If she already has a favorite spice it up with a bow or bandana.
Kitty Holster Harness
This is the harness our Sunspot wears. He’s grown out of the extra small though, check the right size for your furbaby.
5. Dinnerware
Bring Kitty flowers with Catit’s flower fountain or an exquisite Thirsty Cat Fountain. If that isn’t quite what you are looking for, maybe a nice set of dishes that prevent whisker stress.
6. New Place to Sleep?
Want to go bigger? How about a new bed? Maybe kitty would like a tent or a yurt. Maybe a cave is more her style. Or a self heating bed or a window seat.
7. Maybe you Really Want to Spoil Your Valentine Kitty this Year?
How about a nice big cat tree to play on or a stroller or backpack for the aspiring adventure cat?
Or a cool new scratcher? Look at the Max Scratcher. Everything a scratching post should be. From cat designer Hauspanther and Primetime Petz.
Hopefully this has given you some suggestions of ways to show your kitty how much you love him or her on Valentines Day.
